CMC – The history

CMC started with the entrepreneurial idea of Mr. Michele Moretti and Mr. Carlo Mastrogiacomo, the two owner partners who, after running an engineering workshop specialized in repairs and maintenance of cranes and aerial platforms for more than 10 years, recognized the need and will to produce platforms on their own.


As a matter of a fact, this structure becomes an out-and-out company in 1989 when the name “CMC” is used for the first time: its activities increase so that it is necessary to create and include a system of sales as well as the affiliation of other Companies.

In December 1998, thanks to the great know-how and skills acquired in the sector, CMC presents its first MEWP to the customers.


Prestige grows increasingly, exceeding the most optimistic expectations, with the company entering the national and international market; even in the periods of standstill of the sector, CMC does not suffer production crisis.


The business organization becomes more and more flexible and the dense sale network, supported by an efficient and customer oriented service, spreads on the whole national territory and overseas.
The company starts taking part in the most prestigious and qualified national and international trade fairs, and it promotes its different products on specialized advertising channels.
